Barbara and Giuseppe have a background in theater/dance and are mainly working on performances dealing with artificial intelligence and the notions of the internet.

Giuseppe Chico (1974, Italy) was introduced to theater as a child, and he pursued his theater practice with Robert McNeer at a theater Kismet. In 2000 he moved to Paris and began studying dance and composition. He performed with the company Mille Plateaux Associés for several years.

Barbara Matijević (1978, Croatia) has studied dance and graduated in literature at the Zagreb University before moving to Paris invited by the French choreographer Boris Charmatz. She has been teaching dance at the Art Academy in Osijek, Croatia since 2004. In 2007, she founded with Saša Božić, the company De facto and began a collaboration with Giuseppe Chico.
