Submissions for an experimental paper-based exhibition curated by Penthouse Collective are accepted 1-30 November 2025.
Penthouse Collective is beginning work on an experimental publication that will serve as an alternative exhibition space: ink on paper. The first issue of the publication is now open for submissions from artists across all fields of art.
Saastamoinen Foundation supports the first issue of the publication.
The publication Eteinen will be a physical magazine. The collective is seeking a wide range of artistic forms for the publication — including those not commonly seen in traditional print media. The layout and visual design will be experimental, breaking away from the conventional format of an art magazine. The purpose of the layout is to unite the featured works into a cohesive whole, while also functioning as an artwork in itself.
The publication will be completed in Spring 2026, and its editorial and communications language will be Finnish. Submissions in English are also welcome. English texts will be translated into Finnish for publication.
The Penthouse collective consists of young artists, curators, cultural producers, and graphic designers. The collective operates under the association Penthouse ry, whose mission is to support young people’s independent artistic and art production activities.
