ART+

Saastamoinen Foundation operates in the areas of economic, cultural, environmental and social sustainability. In its activities, the Foundation primarily promotes cultural sustainability.

In the work of Saastamoinen Foundation, the approach to cultural sustainability is called ART+. It means harnessing art for the creative search for sustainable solutions. It’s about the collaboration and dialogue between different actors and building a bridge between the past and the future, for example, through the Foundation’s art collection. In the Foundation’s activities, ART+ is about the cultivation of working methods and perspectives familiar from art.
