Art Collection

Saastamoinen Foundation Art Collection comprises nearly 3,000 works of Finnish and international art.

The collection of Finnish art spans more than a century, ranging from Modernist painting of the 1910s to photographic and media art produced in the 2020s. The collection of international art draws on the ideas of European painting and Italian Arte Povera of the 1960s. These movements were selected for their focus on everyday life and materials, and for their exploration of humanity’s significance in the contemporary world.
