The Saastamoinen Foundation’s art collection is in constant development. Artworks are purchased from galleries and museum exhibitions and art fairs and other art events, both in Finland and abroad. The number of works added to the collection is not determined in advance. The acquisition rate has in recent years been about 30–50 works annually.
